If you are not already planning to attend DHG’s 26th Annual Government Contracting Conference, this preview of three popular sessions might convince you to join.
This year’s theme is Charting Success Through Evolving Challenges. Expect helpful insight from our industry professionals on a variety of ways to prepare your organization for what’s new and what’s next – especially if you join these conversations:
- The DCMA/DCAA Update: Because cost and pricing represent new challenges every year, we kick off the conference with a presentation on updates and trends. Our panelists will identify new and revised rules and share ideas for adapting contract pricing tools and techniques to evolving government audit requirements and oversight. Some of the other topics our panel will touch on include how to address increased costs due to COVID-19 and the impact on rates and pricing with all the legislation tied directly to the pandemic.
- The DCAA Keynote: Always popular with attendees, DCAA leadership will be on hand to share insights into the strategies and initiatives they use to accomplish their contract audit mission. Each year, DCAA provides insight into current issues facing the industry. Attendees can also submit questions ahead of time to give our distinguished panelists an idea of what information would be useful to them. All attendees can submit questions to DCAA’s Director of Policy, Martha McKune, and DCAA’s Deputy Director, Joseph Bentz.
- The GovCon Legal Update: In this session, attorney Paul Pompeo recaps 2021’s relevant legal decisions that impact how government contractors approach the federal marketplace. You will gain insight into regulations and interpretations along with strategies to help your organization avoid potential pitfalls.
